recognize the steps for managing database files using Automatic Storage Management (ASM) and disk groups.

identify ways to manage disk groups and their attributes and also configure and manage ASM instances.

recognize the steps for managing ASM storage, scalability, and performance using the ALTER command and also the ASMCMD utility.

create an ASM instance and disk group and use the ASMCMD to view disk group data.
