Overview/Description
This course is designed to provide an overview of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 2000. It covers what the Act entails, the implications for organisations and their employees, and how employees should respond to requests for information. Examples of real-life scenarios relating to freedom of information are incorporated. This SkillSoft Legal Compliance course was developed with subject matter support provided by the Employment Department of Davenport Lyons.

Target Audience
All employees of public authorities, and companies that are wholly owned by public authorities - with an emphasis on management and operational staff who need to understand and implement compliance policies
