The course is designed to help IT professionals implement and support an advanced infrastructure based on Windows Server. This includes designing and implementing datacenter technologies using core Windows services as well as using products from the System Center family. For example, this course will help students understand how to manage a virtualized datacenter using System Center Virtual Machine Manager. Other technologies include Active Directory Rights Management, Active Directory Federation Services, System Center Data Protection Manager, System Center Operations Manager, and System Center Configuration Manager. Moreover, students will learn to plan for business continuity and disaster recovery, and how to build highly available services using networking services such as Network Load Balancing and failover clustering. This course is the final course in the MCSE series of courses.
Prerequisites
To benefit fully from this course, students should have the following prerequisite courses/skills and knowledge:
Experience working with Windows Server 2008 or later operating systems.
Experience working with Active Directory Domain Services and networking infrastructure
Equivalent knowledge of the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate
