This course establishes the fundamental skills and knowledge necessary to implement a core Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012 R2 infrastructure. The course is designed to help IT professionals understand and support the advanced configuration of Windows services. This includes technologies such as Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), identity management, rights management, Federation Services, and advanced networking services, as well as high availability and recovery components such as Network Load Balancing, Failover Clustering, business continuity and disaster recovery. This course is the third of three courses that will cumulatively provide the complete picture of managing a Server 2012 R2 based network.
Prerequisites
To benefit fully from this course, students should have the following prerequisite courses/skills and knowledge:
Experience working with Windows Server 2008 or later operating systems.
Experience working with Active Directory Domain Services and networking infrastructure
Equivalent knowledge of the “Administering Windows Server 2012 R2” course
