Overview/Description
This course provides a brief history of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It outlines ISO's mission and structure by examining the three standards that comprise the ISO 9000 family of standards: ISO 9000:2000, ISO 9001:2000, and ISO 9004:2000. This course also presents the universal quality fundamentals that form the foundation of the concepts and practices required by the ISO 9001 standard.
