This course introduces the Quality Management System (QMS) model which is a conceptual framework for the ISO 9001:2000 standard requirements. The QMS model emphasizes ISO 9001:2000's new focus on a process approach to quality, continual improvement, and customer satisfaction. In addition, this course describes the important role that documentation plays in building a quality management system and outlines how an organization can begin its ISO journey in an easy-to-understand format.
