Overview/Description
When you say the word leader it conjures up various images... some very good and some equally as bad. We think of the rousing speeches of someone like Winston Churchill, the absolute determination of General Schwarzkopf or the regal aloofness of the British Royal family. Unfortunately, when we are placed in leadership roles, especially for the first time, most of us have a tendency to misunderstand our role and lead our teams beyond what is called for, or required. In fact we have been known to lead our teams right into the ground. In this course, you will learn the real role that the leader plays, from coaching and running effective team meetings, to understanding and using powerful problem-solving techniques.
