Overview/Description
Every successful project comes to an end. In contrast, unsuccessful projects linger on, never reaching a final point, continuing to consume resources and careers. These are not high points in anyone's curriculum vitae. So, it is just as critical to know how to end a project as it is to begin one. In this course you will gain the skills to use project management tools for tracking progress and staying focused on a positive outcome. You will also learn how to "crash" a project, analyse the costs and the benefits, and keep your project from the always present dangers of "scope creep". In the final lesson, you will move into the final phase of your project, completion. Here you will gain the skills necessary for finishing your project, disassembling the team, completing a project's "post" and finally, celebrating your successes.
Target Audience
Anyone who works on a project team, including managers, supervisors, project managers and team leaders.
