Overview/Description
A course designed for employees who work at industrial process plants to recognize the potential health and safety implications associated with their job. This course is intended to educate the employee in order to help prevent or minimize the consequences of a catastrophic release of toxic, reactive, flammable, or explosive Highly Hazardous Chemicals (HHC) from a process. The content in this course is designed to comply with the intent of the applicable regulatory requirements. Learner objectives for this course are to: identify the Chemical Process Safety Standard employer requirements, specify Process Hazard Analysis information, define the purpose of the Chemical Process Safety Program, and recognize the importance of operating procedures in a Chemical Process Safety Program.
