Overview/Description
Adobe Fireworks CS4 is a robust graphics editor primarily used for prototyping web sites and creating and optimizing images for the Web. This course explores the Fireworks interface and the robust toolset offered within the application, including selection, bitmap, and vector tools. The course also explains concepts used in prototyping web sites, such as wireframing. Other graphic manipulation concepts, such as layering and slicing as well as optimizing images for the web are also covered.

Target Audience
The target audience is expected to be a range of in-training or established Web Application Design and IT professionals needing to learn how to use Adobe Fireworks CS4 without any experience with the specific product. Students are expected to have basic computing and word-processing skills, familiarity with some web and design terminology, and experience working in a Microsoft Windows or Apple Macintosh environment.
