Overview/Description
Performing system administration by configuring initial basic settings is the first important task when deploying Cisco Unified Communications Manager. To administer Cisco Unified Communications Manager, it is important to know which user interfaces exist and when to use each one. Another important side of Cisco Unified Communications Manager administration is user management, which you can optionally achieve by integrating Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP). This course describes the various Cisco Unified Communications Manager administration methods and features, provides information about how to access them, and explores the configuration of initial settings. Methods of managing users in Cisco Unified Communications Manager are also covered. This course is one of a series from two SkillSoft learning paths, which cover the objectives for Cisco exam 642-446 CIPT. This exam is one of five required qualifying exams for the CCVP (Cisco Certified Voice Professional) certification.
