Overview/Description
Security, data management, and accessibility are huge fields; however, a system administrator should know enough to understand the roles and features available when configuring a Linux system. This course describes some basic best practices and functionality available to secure a server or provide accessibility for users. In this course, you will learn how to perform basic security administration tasks; learn how to write Structured Query Langauge, or SQL, statements; learn how to secure data using encryption; and learn about the Assistive Technologies available to help with Accessibility requirements. This course is one of a series in the Skillsoft learning path that covers the objectives for the CompTIA Linux+ exams LX0-104.
