Overview/Description
This course helps the lone working employee to protect themselves from the potential safety risks associated with lone working by helping them to assess the risks in their particular work environment and take appropriate actions where required. It also outlines employee obligations with regard to lone workers in UK law. This course was developed with subject matter support provided by Chilworth (a DEKRA Company) – Global Experts in Safety and Process Safety.

  • identify the types of control measures that may be put in place to protect your safety as a result of the risks identified in a risk assessment

  • recognise the behavioural signs of a person who may be about to become violent
