Overview/Description

As a commercial vehicle operator, you are responsible for the safe operation of your tractor trailer. Following appropriate practices to couple and uncouple trailers, as well as maintaining equipment, ensures that you and the other motorists who share the road with you are safe. In this course, you will learn about the equipment used to couple and uncouple trailers and how to use it properly. You'll also learn about some of the inspections you need to perform on connecting equipment before taking a combination vehicle on the road. This course also covers the steps for coupling and uncoupling vehicles safely.
