Slips, trips, and falls constitute the majority of general home environment accidents and are responsible for a number of accidental deaths, second only to poisoning as a cause of accident-related fatalities in the home. Working from home – in an environment you're so familiar with – can make it easy to forget that safety should remain a top priority just like it should be in the office.
In this course, you will learn how to recognize and prevent slip, trip, and fall hazards when working from home. You'll explore ways to minimize walkway hazards, as well as how to prevent injuries on stairs. You'll also learn how to use ladders safely. The content in this course is designed to comply with the intent of the applicable regulatory requirements.
