This course will provide the learners with an overview of various threats to home PCs and ways to protect them. The course will cover concepts such as hackers, viruses, Trojan horses, Spyware, Phishing, spam, worms, Adware, and cookies. This course will also provide the learner with measures to prevent virus infections, spam, and Spyware. Guidelines regarding maintaining privacy and guarding children online will be covered as well. The course will also include how to use Windows Service Pack 2, Internet Explorer 6, McAfee Internet Security Suite 6, and Norton Internet Security 2005 to block malware.
