For projects in which the requirements are continuously changing, you may need a more proactive project management approach. This course is an introduction to common Agile methodologies and principles because they relate to project management with focus on software development. The Agile project management process encourages frequent inspection and adaptation, teamwork, accountability, self-organization, best practices that allow for rapid delivery and high quality, and a business approach that aligns development with customer needs and company goals. Scrum and eXtreme Programming (XP) are two methodologies that represent these principles. On completing a general introduction to Agile, the course will focus on Scrum, which is an iterative incremental process commonly used with Agile software development.This course is intended for project managers, program managers, or anyone who wants to efficiently manage projects that experience frequent changes in user requirements.
