PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) Certification. Even a well-developed schedule executed by the best resources will not guarantee a successful project if you do not control the changes that take place in the project. You need to monitor changes from the initial plan and ensure that the changes are incorporated into the plan after they are approved by a competent authority. It is important that you keep your team members, customers, and stakeholders informed of all the changes that are occurring to the project cost or schedule. By developing an integrated change control system for your project, documenting its parameters, and adhering to its guidelines, you can reduce the risk to your project and maintain its positive forward movement. This will ensure that even the most complex project is successfully executed.
