Welcome to the second course in the CompTIA® Healthcare IT Technician series. Working in a medical environment can be very different from life in other industries. The many unique aspects of this environment will present many new challenges. Having an understanding of how the medical environment is structured and familiarity with essential jargon will allow healthcare IT technicians to meet the challenge of this unfamiliar environment.Having established the fundamental concepts and definitions about IT in the healthcare industry in the previous course, this second course will focus in more depth on the healthcare industry itself, especially on material that IT professionals who are not familiar with the healthcare industry will need the most.
