Overview/Description
To ensure that the Exchange Server 2007 environment runs smoothly, it is necessary to monitor system activity and the performance of your Exchange servers. Monitoring allows you to obtain data that can assist in tuning the performance of the Exchange environment as well as assist in troubleshooting. It is also very important to ensure that the Exchange servers and the e-mail messages themselves are secured and cannot be accessed by outside users. This course discusses how to monitor, audit, and log the performance of Exchange Server 2007, as well as securing Exchange from possible malicious users.

Prerequisites
A working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and a working knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, and IIS; an understanding of Internet protocols, such as POP3, IMAP4, SMTP, and HTTP may be beneficial
