Overview/Description
Safeguarding the health, safety, and security of employees is essential for business success and of particular concern to HR professionals. This course explains how to apply common occupational health, safety, and security guidelines and programs. It also outlines how security risk analysis can be used to avoid future emergencies. This course prepares HR professionals and management who are preparing for the Human Resource Certification Institute's Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification examination.

Prerequisites
This HRCI/SPHR certification will sit alongside the existing HRCI/PHR certification program within the Human Resources Curriculum. As the HRCI Body of Knowledge covers both the existing PHR program and the proposed SPHR program it is recommended that candidates familiarize themselves with the content at the PHR level before taking the SPHR certification exam. The SPHR exam assesses HR knowledge at the strategic/policy level. The PHR exam assesses knowledge at the operational/technical level.
