Overview/Description
Organizations often implement process changes and new system implementations without fully thinking them through or planning them carefully. This leads to loss of time, money, and other precious resources. A business analyst's aim is to ensure that the needs of the organization and its stakeholders are well understood and to design solutions that will meet those needs while creating value. This course provides an overview of business analysis and foundational terms and concepts used by business analysts who work in the field. It describes the six knowledge areas of business analysis as described in A Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK® Guide) v3. This course will assist learners in preparing for the IIBA®'s Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®) certification exam. IIBA®, the IIBA® logo, BABOK®, and Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® are registered trademarks owned by International Institute of Business Analysis.
