Overview/Description
During project planning, quality assurance processes are established to ensure that the deliverable meets requirements. Once project work begins, quality control tools and techniques are used to compare the deliverable to the scope. If variance is detected, the project manager must identify the root cause and act accordingly. During procurement planning, the project team will select the most appropriate contract type. Options include fixed price, cost reimbursable, and time and materials contracts.
