Overview/Description
Collaboration engineers are routinely required to configure and troubleshoot gateways in a unified communication dial plan. In this course, you’ll identify the components and configurations methods of Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP) gateways. You’ll begin by examining the characteristics of the MGC protocol and methods for configuring MGCP gateways. You’ll then explore elements of the path selection process in the Cisco Unified Communication Manager (UCM) and identify their role in call processing. You'll finish the course by investigating digit manipulation patterns and how to configure and troubleshoot different telecommunication interface standards on an Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN). This course is a part of a collection of courses that will prepare you for the 350-801: Implementing and Operating Cisco Collaboration Core Technologies (CLCOR) certification exam.
