Overview/Description

Discover how Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) provide Amazon Web Services (AWS) virtual network configurations, including subnets as well as Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and Domain Name System (DNS) options. Learn about linking an on-premises network to the AWS cloud. Course participants will learn how VPCs address cloud networking needs as subnets which can deploy resources, and how to create a VPC using graphical user interface, command-line interface, and PowerShell, a task-based command-line shell and scripting language. You will also learn how to configure VPC, DHCP, and DNS options. And finally, learn how Direct Connect makes it easy to establish a dedicated network connection from your premises to AWS by allowing use of a dedicated private network circuit to link your on-premises network directly to an AWS VPC. Learn about site-to-site and client-to-site virtual private networks (VPNs), as well as Direct Connect dedicated circuits. This course can be used in preparation for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate SAA-C02 exam.
