Examine the key aspects of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) shared responsibility model, including the dynamic responsibilities between AWS and their customers based on the services used. In this course, participants will learn the key aspects of the AWS shared responsibility model as a cloud security framework that dictates the security obligations of a cloud computing provider and its users to ensure accountability. AWS has the responsibility of the provider in this relationship, and at the forefront of that responsibility is security. Customers have complete control over their content and they are responsible for managing critical content security. The content they store on AWS is their responsibility. Upon completion of this course, you will have an understanding of the shared responsibility model with AWS and its users and the importance of a joint shared responsibility between the provider and the consumer. This course is one of a collection of courses that prepares learners for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner 2019 certification.
