Overview/Description

In your role as SysOps Admin, disasters will inevitably affect your IT systems on more than one occasion. However, using AWS, you can effectively plan disaster recovery for your related services and data. In this course, you'll explore which AWS services to configure for this task and how.

You'll begin with an overview of AWS backup solutions before running an on-demand backup and restoring data from the backup. You'll then configure S3 bucket cross-region replication, work with EBS volume snapshots, and configure autoscaling. Lastly, you'll explore the benefits of multi-tiered web apps and learn how to deploy a content delivery network using CloudFront. This course is one of a collection of courses that prepares learners for the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate (SOA-CO1) exam.
