Overview/Description

Discover how to apply knowledge of Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), Internet Protocol (IP) addressing, firewalls, and network security groups (NSGs) to address business needs in this 17-video course, preparing learners for AZ-301: Microsoft Azure Architect Design certification exam. Start off with a look at Azure virtual network planning, recognizing which network options should be used in given situations. Then examine VNet creation using the portal and using command-line tools to create a VNet. Learn about network peering—linking Nets together through peering; create a public IP address resource; and recognize when to deploy Azure Firewall, and how to create an Azure Firewall configuration. Examine NSGs and how they are used; create an NSG and rules, and learn how to enable NSG flow logs. Learners discover how to determine P2S VPN connection metrics; use Azure Network Watcher to test virtual machine connectivity; and create a network performance monitor (NPM) log analytics workspace, and user Service Connectivity Monitor to monitor network connectivity. Finally, take a look at the Azure network topology. The exercise involves planning Azure Networking.
