Overview/Description

This 13-video course explores how to delegate limited Microsoft Azure administrative tasks to others, in preparation for the AZ-300: Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies certification exam. Learners will observe how to use RBAC (role-based access control) to limit tasks, and to audit Azure configurations. You will learn that RBAC roles are a collection of permissions which can be associated with a user or group at different levels in the Azure. This course examines built-in RBAC roles available in Azure, and how to create a custom role to suit your Azure administrative needs. You will learn how to use PowerShell to delegate custom role definitions, and to delete role assignments. Then learners will examine how Azure policies provide a mechanism to control deployment, usage, and configuration of cloud resources. You will learn to assign policies using the Azure portal, and using PowerShell. Next, learn to use Azure policies to audit your existing configurations. Finally, you will examine how to create custom Azure policy definitions to fit specific business needs.
