Overview/Description

In this 11-video course, learners will examine several methods available in Azure to perform Resource Performance and Usage Monitoring using VMs (virtual machines) and web application diagnostics. Prepare for the AZ-300: Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies certification exam by examining how to use the Azure dashboard to manage and monitor resources in a central location. First, you will explore how to maintain stability and security by enabling diagnostic logging, and how to create log queries. The course then demonstrates how to perform log queries on data collected in a log analytic workspace, and shows how diagnostic logging results are sent to an Azure table within a storage account. You will learn to configure Azure Virtual Machine alerts using the Azure portal to receive automatic alerts, how to configure action groups for alert notifications, and how to export diagnostics, and enable web app logging. Finally, you will learn to use the Azure dashboard portal Monitor service to monitor visually as metrics are charted.
