Overview/Description

This 18-video course explores how web app developers can host containerized applications in the Azure cloud, and the correlation between app service plans and web applications. Continue preparing for the AZ-300: Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies certification exam by learning how to manage web apps by using several tools available in Azure. First, you will learn web app deployment by using both the Azure portal and Microsoft Visual Studio. This course demonstrates how to connect to an Azure web app Kudu interface. You will learn to configure storage account static website hosting; how to configure web jobs; and how to enable custom domain names and SSL (secure sockets layer) and TLS (transport layer security) bindings. Next, learn the purpose of containerized applications; how to work with Docker containers; and details about Docker container registries. Finally, learners will observe how to deploy the Docker Engine to a VM, and how to upload a Docker image to the Azure Container Registry.
