Overview/Description

In this 18-video course, learners continue preparations for the MS-201 Implementing a Hybrid and Secure Messaging Platform certification exam, which tests abilities of messaging administrators to plan and implement a hybrid configuration, manage migration, secure the messaging environment, and manage organizational settings. Learners will observe how to restrict access in Exchange Server to authorized users with RBAC (role-based access control). Explore role-based permissions, how to manage both the RBAC and the discovery management role group. Moving on to the role of group layers, you will learn how to plan RBAC roles for eDiscovery; how to add users to the discovery management role group; how to assign a role group delegate; and how to verify membership details. Learners observe how to use the EAC (Exchange administrator center) to create, copy, view and remove a role group, add a management role to a role group, and change the scope. Finally, you will learn how to use the EAC to create a new assignment policy and how to change the assignment policy on a mailbox.
