Overview/Description

This 20-video course helps learners prepare for the MS-200 Planning and Configuring a Messaging Platform certification exam by exploring how to manage recipient resources, including groups, mailboxes and license options. The course begins by examining the different recipient types in Exchange and demonstrating how to create a user mailbox, change the mailbox properties, and add or remove email addresses for a mailbox. Then you will learn how to create distribution, mail-enabled security, and dynamic distribution groups. Next, use the EAC (Exchange administrator center) to create mail contacts and users, create room mailboxes, and assign permissions to a mailbox. Learners examine mailbox moves, and collaboration features such as public folders, shared mailboxes, archives, and distribution groups. From there, you will watch demonstrations of how to create shared mailboxes, view and configure Outlook on the web policies and manage mailbox archives. Finally, learners explore the various licensing options available in Exchange server: standard and enterprise licenses, distinguished by number of database mailboxes per server.
