Explore how to manage disaster recovery, including planning and execution of an effective backup and recovery strategy, in this course preparing learners for the MS-200 Planning and Configuring a Messaging Platform certification exam. The 18-video course begins by exploring different backup scenarios, Exchange Native Data Protection, and Exchange-aware and VSS-based backups. Next, you will examine the Exchange Server VSS Writer and Unified Context Store (UCS) recovery. Then explore various strategies for implementing backup and recovery scenarios. Learners will watch a practical demonstration of using Windows Server Backup to backup and restore Exchange, as well as how to recover an Exchange Server and a DAG member server. You will then examine recovery databases, including when to use them and how to create and restore data with recovery databases, and discuss dial tone portability and recovery.
