Overview/Description
Fire safety involves having an understanding of the precautionary measures that can be taken to reduce or prevent the possibility of a fire. If a fire does occur, it can cause a lot of damage, including loss of information, property damage, injuries and even fatalities. Employers are therefore required to implement fire safety measures and ensure employees are well informed about fire hazards and how to prevent them. This course aims to raise awareness about fire safety, including the conditions that may give rise to a fire, and the ways in which the risk of a fire can and should be prevented or minimised.
