Overview/Description
In today’s business environment, rarely does a company have a single project manager overseeing a single project. Businesses are fast-paced, with multiple project managers in charge of a variety of projects, often across many locations. Microsoft Office Project Server 2007 is the main component of the Microsoft Office Enterprise Project Management Solution and the toolset best suited to keep project managers, teams, and stakeholders updated with the latest multi-project information. This course introduces some of the features and processes of Project Server 2007, including implementing a collaborative Microsoft Office Enterprise Project Management (EPM) solution, and working with Project Web Access. This course is one of a series in the SkillSoft learning path that covers the objectives for the Technology Specialist (TS): Microsoft Office Project Server 2007: Managing Projects 70-633 exam. Passing this exam will earn the learner the MCTS: Enterprise Project Management with Microsoft Office Project Server 2007 certification. In turn, this certification counts as a credit toward the MCITP: Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Enterprise Project Management with Microsoft Office Project Server 2007 certification.
