Overview/Description
Resource capacity management is the ability to plan the right combinations of resources, skills, availability, and costs to get the task done. To do this without overlooking a task or under or over-utilizing a resource is a project manager’s ultimate goal. This course identifies the types of resources available to both project managers and project teams, and the management tools used to ensure the most efficient use of these resources using Microsoft Office Project Server 2007. This course also describes how to plan cost management and risk management for a project. This course is one of a series in the SkillSoft learning path that covers the objectives for the Technology Specialist (TS): Microsoft Office Project Server 2007: Managing Projects 70-633 exam. Passing this exam will earn the learner the MCTS: Enterprise Project Management with Microsoft Office Project Server 2007 certification. In turn, this certification counts as a credit toward the MCITP: Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Enterprise Project Management with Microsoft Office Project Server 2007 certification.
