Overview/Description
Windows 8 includes a number of new technologies relating to deployment including Windows To Go and the ability to natively boot from a virtual hard disk file. Windows 8 also includes new technologies for managing applications, such as Client Hyper-V, and a plethora of new group policy settings for IE 10. This course covers installation and migration strategies for Windows 8, and also covers application installation, management and compatibility management for Windows 8 systems. This course is one of a series which cover the objectives for Microsoft Exam 70-688: Managing and Maintaining Windows 8. This exam is a requirement for the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows 8 certification. Please note this course is based on the original Windows 8 release.
