Overview/Description
Passwords are insufficient to protect systems today. Windows 10 adds new security features such as Windows Hello, virtual SmartCards, and Microsoft Passport that seek to overcome the limitations of traditional passwords. Windows 10 also introduces a new way to authenticate users with Azure-based accounts. In this course, we explore the details of how login works as well as key concepts behind authentication including domain accounts, Kerberos, and Azure AD. In addition, we explore the new security technologies in Windows 10 and learn how to implement Windows Hello and virtual SmartCards. This Skillsoft learning path covers the objectives for the Microsoft exam, Building Configuring Windows Devices (beta for Windows 10) (70-697). This exam counts toward the Configuring Windows Devices Microsoft Specialist certification.
