Overview/Description
General database maintenance and performance monitoring are important Oracle DBA tasks. Proactive and reactive database maintenance is made easy by the sophisticated infrastructure of Oracle Database 11g Release 2, including elements such as Automatic Workload Repository (AWR) and database health checkers. DBAs must make sure that databases are open and available to users when they need it and that it is working without bottlenecks by gathering performance metrics. This course explores how to specify, review, and maintain audit information.
