Techniques answer the question “How?” Project management techniques are procedures that members of a project team use to complete tasks. Experienced Project Managers often keep a toolbox of proven and trusted techniques nearby. They need techniques that are documented and repeatable. Techniques should also be flexible and appropriate for use with any type or size of project. The PRINCE2 project management methodology provides techniques for planning product development, controlling change and performing quality assurance testing. This course provides an overview of the PRINCE2 techniques. PRINCE2 is recognised as an international standard for process-based project management. It is the standard method for project management in the UK. This course is designed to assist learners in preparation for the PRINCE2 Foundation certification exam objectives related to the Product-based Planning, Quality Review and Change Control Approach techniques.
