Overview/Description
Virtual environments have gone past the single machine, and now can be created to represent entire corporate infrastructures, allowing for a much smaller hardware footprint, and thus saving companies a great deal of money. This course examines virtual infrastructures, and the evolution of the vSphere 4 environment and the products that are found in that environment. vSphere is made up of many individual products which, when combined together, allow for complete virtualization of server and datacenter environments. This course will examine VMware Infrastructure 3, VMware vSphere 4, VMware vCenter Converter, VMware vCenter Server, VMware vCenter Orchestrator, VMware vCenter Update Manager, VMware Lifecycle Manager, VMware vCenter Server Heartbeat, VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager, VMware Data Recovery, VMware vCenter AppSpeed, VMware vCenter Lab Manager, VMware vCenter Stage Manager, and VMware Capacity Planner. The course aims to equip you with the knowledge required to decide which VMware datacenter products best meet your organization's virtualization needs.
