Overview/Description
Microsoft Windows Server 2012 builds upon features found in previous versions of Windows Server, as well as providing several new features. This course examines group policy objects, GPO inheritance and precedence, enforcing GPO settings, GPO security, WMI filtering, and GPO management delegation. This course also examines group processing, deploying GPO loopback processing, overriding GPO policy operations, and client-side extension behavior. Finally, this course looks at resultant set of policy, gpresullt.exe, GPO backup and restore features, creating migration tables, Powershell group policy modules, and item-level targeting. Anyone preparing for the 70-411: Administering Windows Server 2012 exam would benefit from taking this course. Please note this course is based on the original Windows Server 2012 release.
