Overview/Description
Microsoft Windows Server 2012 is the newest version of Microsoft Windows Server and builds upon features found in previous versions of Windows Server, as well as providing a number of new features. This course examines Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), DNS integration with AD, AD installation, and the AD services role configuration. This course also examines how to promote domain controllers, create server pools, use Powershell to install AD DS and how to use domain controllers for fault tolerance. Finally, this course looks at installing AD on Server Core, installing from media, creating schema, configuring roles and upgrading domain controllers to Server 2012. Please note this course is based on the original Windows Server 2012 release. Skillsoft recommends visiting the vendor website to confirm exam requirements.
