Overview/Description
Microsoft Windows Server 2012 is the newest version of Microsoft Windows Server and builds upon features found in previous versions of Windows Server, as well as providing a number of new features. This course examines domain controller name registration, SRV records, the global catalog server, and UGMC. This course also examines how to remove a domain controller and removing AD domain services and the DNS services. Finally, this course looks at creating OUs, user accounts, computer accounts, group accounts, and object security and inheritance. It is one of a series designed to prepare the learner for exam 70-410: Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012. Please note this course is based on the original Windows Server 2012 release.
