Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification (SSYB)

Program Overview:

Six Sigma Yellow Belt is an entry level position on a Six Sigma team. Yellow Belts are full-time employees in an organization and typically spend approximately 20-30 percent of their time on Six Sigma projects led by Green/Black Belts. The process of this certification includes meeting the minimum eligibility requirements set by ASQ and passing the Yellow Belt certification exam. The certification exam is based on ASQ's newly released Certified Six Sigma Yellow Belt Body of Knowledge, 2015.

   
Target Audience:

All employees including process owners and champions who are new to the world of Lean Six Sigma or have an interest to develop foundational knowledge, quality professionals, engineers, production managers and frontline supervisors charged with the responsibility of improving quality and processes at the organizational or departmental level.

   
Prerequisites:

The Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification requires one year of work experience in one or more areas of the Six Sigma Yellow Belt Body of Knowledge.

   
Requirements: The certification examination is a a two-hour, 75multiple-choice question exam and is offered in English only.
