Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Enterprise Administrator

 
Program Overview:

The individual holding the Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Enterprise Administrator certification has demonstrated the ability to manage the enterprise IT environment and architecture. The enterprise administrator has the background and knowledge to make technology decisions based on business requirements and designs IT strategies relating to network infrastructure, security services and policies, high availability, and general best practices.

 

 

Target Audience:

The audience for this path includes IT professionals making decisions and recommendations on enterprise network infrastructure and services and enterprise administrators overseeing an existing IT architecture including Windows Server 2008 features.

 

 

Prerequisites:

It is recommended for candidates to have a minimum of one year of experience with the implementation and administration of an enterprise environment, including exposure to Windows Server operating systems, a multiple-site network infrastructure, and a number of domain controllers. Candidates should also have experience with remote access, client computer management, branch office connectivity, and connecting corporate networks to the Internet.
