ISTQB-BCS Certified Tester Foundation Level

Program Overview: As software systems become increasingly commonplace, so too do software failures. Software failures can result in loss of money, time, business reputation, and - in extreme cases - life. Software testing is required to mitigate the risk of software failures and ensure confidence in systems.
The International/American Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB/ASTQB) and the BCS are two certifying bodies who have aligned their software testing syllabi. Both bodies award a qualification to students who pass exam BH0-010. The qualifications are: The BCS Certified Tester Foundation Level and the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level qualification.
   
Target Audience: Software developers, technical and user acceptance testers, test analysts, test engineers, test consultants, test managers, project managers, quality managers; anyone with an interest in testing.
   
Prerequisites: Working experience with computers; prior experience in either software testing or the software development cycle would be beneficial
