Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) Certification

Program Overview: The Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®) designation signifies the highest level of competency required of members of the business analysis community to effectively fulfil their roles in organizations. Business analysts analyze business change needs, assess potential impact of those changes, identify requirements, and recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders. The process of becoming a CBAP® includes meeting the minimum eligibility requirements set by IIBA and passing the CBAP certification exam.
   
Target Audience: All levels of employees in large, medium, and small enterprises intending to write the CBAP® exam and wishing to develop and refine their business analysis skills.
   
Prerequisites: IIBA has set eligibility requirements of at least 7,500 hours of business analysis work experience aligned with the BABOK® Guide within the last 10 years and at least 21 hours of professional development activities within the past four years for this certification.
   
Requirements: The CBAP® certification requires passing a computer based multiple-choice examination that tests candidates' knowledge based on the BABOK® Guide v2, 2009 or BABOK® Guide v3, 2015, whichever is applicable.
