Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

Program Overview: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing and Switching certification validates the ability to plan, implement, verify and troubleshoot local and wide-area enterprise networks and work collaboratively with specialists on advanced security, voice, wireless and video solutions. With a CCNP certification, a network professional demonstrates the knowledge and skills required to work independently on complex network solutions. The CCNP curriculum includes Implementing Cisco IP Routing (ROUTE v2.0), Implementing Cisco IP Switched Networks (SWITCH v 2.0), and Troubleshooting and Maintaining Cisco IP Networks (TSHOOT v2.0).

 

   
Target Audience: This program is for those aiming to perform enterprise roles such as network technician, support engineer, systems engineer or network engineer, or anyone working toward the Cisco Certified Network Professional qualification and Cisco Certified Design Professional certification. This certification could also benefit early CCIE Routing and Switching candidates.
   
Prerequisites: Valid Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching certification or any Cisco CCIE certification can act as a prerequisite.
